I was in a fender bender, turn signal not working

I was in a fender bender yesterday, the front left bumper got some light damage, but now the turn signals on the front and back of the left don't work. It will take a week or two just to get the car in for repair. I need to make a long drive, how can I do this safely or will I get a ticket for having the lights not working. Am I really stuck renting a car for the next month or so?

Are you able to plug in new bulbs, if you can do at least that and tape them at the right place on the car, you should be okay.

Brother just pretend you're in a bmw and don't signal.

.....says a BMW owner.

What kind of car is it? It could be as simple as the bulb getting knocked loose and just needs to be reattached properly

I think that it's a Renault.

Does the turn signal flash very rapidly, or does it not work at all?

If you’re in America don’t worry about it. Nobody uses their turn signals anyway. 🤣

Can you not take it into another shop that will get you in sooner?

…. How can we help if you don’t even say what car it is? Have you poked around at the light? Could be a damaged bulb, which isn’t rocket science to replace.

Are you unable to use the hand signal in lieu of your indicator?
