Guns that were sold in the Libyan black market during 2020s.

Disclaimer: The purpose of this post is purely informative and documentary, aiming to show the variety and types of weapons circulating in this illicit market.
At no time is my intention to promote, facilitate, or participate in the sale of unregistered weapons. Prison terms in Libya for possessing unregistered weapons can be 5 to 10 years.

I’d suck a cock for that create of Sterlings

I really think these prices are made up or not in USD. Who over there is paying $500 for a Makarov? 10k for a runnof the mill rifle. Pffttt.
Rew0lweed_0celot@reddit
Is this Makarov .50?
hmmstillclosed@reddit
Thank god someone else said it, that makarov is fuckin huge!

I looked after some Armourers in Southern Iraq in the British Army. Things were being brought in all the time for putting beyond use (cut up/crushed etc). Once the younger crew were able to describe action of mech'/strip and assemble etc we had them destroy the stuff. From an engineering and weapons perspective it was awful to do but we learned the hard way that sending anything back out to police etc would end up in a bazaar and possibly used against coalition forces again. Sterlings were something I trained on but our younger guys hadn't seen them before less on Star Wars!

A crate of sterling’s…. That’s insane
dexcel@reddit
What I find so interesting is that these guns keep popping up on these posts. When the OP had the Iraqi black market posts there were always a few stashed in those posts.
Impressive for such an old design
MountainTitan@reddit
This collection of photos made me think of Far Cry franchise lol
zmannz1984@reddit
I want sooooo many of those, but i would settle for just a single sterling.
adeadperson23@reddit
Looks like russian mercs who “lost” their service weapons. Gaddafi western arms purchases during the 2000s and a couple antiques. Ak’s could have been from any of those
justaheatattack@reddit
where were these people getting all this money?

queekbreadmaker@reddit
How did a g36 show up there?
WVGunsNGoats@reddit
“Price was around $9000 dollars because of the weapon is considered as a status gun”
Amazing how this holds true not only in the US but in other countries as well.
atomiccheesegod@reddit
You ever see the documentary “point and shoot”?
It’s about an American with OCD goes on a motorcycle trip and ends up getting roped into the Libya civil war. He used a F2000 just like that one but with also a supressor
Zestyprotein@reddit
Dude holding the Makarov must have yiny hands.
I would do filthy, disgusting things for that crate of Sterlings.
Only-Introduction626@reddit
I'll take that G36.
RamTank@reddit
Where'd they get a GM-94 from? Off Wagner guys or something?
AdWonderful3935@reddit
I take the F2000 😄
