Philadelphia to Houston

What’s the cheapest airline to fly direct from Philadelphia to IAH? My car will be parked at IAH, so I need to fly back there. I prefer direct because I’ll be flying on a Sunday and getting up at 5:30 for work on Monday.
On the way to Philly I am flying into Baltimore and taking the train. I am not seeing any practical options to do that on the way back.
Appreciate any tips!

If anyone is still around and interested in answering questions - if we land at BWI at 9:58 and our train leaves at 10:42, are we crazy to try this? Or should I look at another train from BWI to Philadelphia? (no luggage, just a backpack)

Thank you for the suggestions. Please forgive me - I am an exhausted teacher. I left out some details that I’m going to add to my post right now. The program I am going to in Philadelphia is over at 11:00 am. Ideally I would like to find a reasonable flight that leaves after 1:00, on September 14. Everything I’m seeing is at least $300 for a one way. The Spirit flight from BWI is a great option, but it would mean missing the last morning of the program.

$300 is probably about right, unfortunately, if you want to both fly nonstop and stay for the 11am session.
One last option: Amtrak can get you to EWR (12:14pm-1:21pm) for $65. Or you could take Amtrak to TRE for $27 (12:14pm-12:43pm) and transfer to New Jersey Transit to EWR for $23.25 (12:57pm-2:03pm) if you want to save ten bucks.
Then there is a Spirit itinerary (5:00pm-10:29pm) with a layover in New Orleans, for $87.38 online or $69.30 if purchased in-person.

Cheapest nonstop itinerary would be to take a $35 Amtrak to Baltimore (11:54am-1:26pm) and then fly United nonstop to IAH for $189 (2:54pm-5:18pm)

Thank you!!

It depends on the day... are you going next week, next month, next year?

The cheapest way back will be to take the train to Baltimore, and then fly Spirit.
12:12pm flight from Baltimore to IAH: $64.99 on the Spirit website, or $37 if you purchase at an airport booking counter
Amtrak from Philly to BWI is $61 (or $8 if you want to leave super early)

Another option is to take the train to Newark (EWR), and then fly Spirit.
1:13pm nonstop flight from Newark to IAH: $99.99 on the Spirit website, or $72 if you purchase at an airport booking counter.
Amtrak from Philly to EWR is $27

Thanks - I am going to look into this option too.
