ya it just starting happening in the past several years where I work, and when other custies started seeing it, they brought their dogs too
now i just smile at the cute dogs, sometimes pet, and carry on with my work

People in general don't give a shit about others or society: if they interact with society, it is only to virtue signal to reinforce their own image as a "good person"; they are only pretending to care.
They genuinely could give a shit less about whether you live or die, and you best see this in how they drive in the streets, when they feel anonymity from the car relatively covering their faces
