Has anyone ever seen a directors cut of the grand tour episodes?

Watching reruns on Amazon, while I relax and eat some snacks after work. The Detroit episode came on i noticed the film timer in the corner. The visual quality is much lower than normal.
Ive seen this episode dozens of times so I easily recognize the extra shots, unedited shots. People in the back ground of shots, etc. I like seeing the extra stuff that normally gets edited out. Pretty neat!

I think it’s just called … the regular episode. I don’t think Amazon made them cut anything, and typically “director cuts” are for when the studio forces the director to make content cuts they themselves don’t want to cut. I doubt Amazon made them cut anything.

I've seen the regular episode dozens of times. This wasn't the regular episode. The video quality was shit. The sound quality was shit. The lighting in the tent was so bright that the GT sign was white. Plus all the dozens of extra footage. The regular episode doesn't show the film timer. Come on.

But where on Prime are these 'director cuts' to be found?

I don't know. On Amazon there's a "on now" area it has shows that fits your watching algorithm that plays live. You can't pause or rewind. A lot of times after work, I'll just click on one of the shows that I've seen a million times as background noise. While I relax after work and eat a late snack before falling asleep on the couch.
This particular day I caught a director's cut of the Detroit episode. I posted everywhere online, hoping to find out if we can indeed watch more.

They've said before that there's not a lot of deleted scenes or cut content. I think it was Clarkson that said something like, "our show works best when things go wrong, so there's not much cut content that's interesting."

Yeah this episode alone has so much removed from the actual show. Granted most of it is B-roll. For instance. In the opening scene when they are showing the dilapidated buildings. They showed more in the directors cut. When they are showing the cars and explaining each one. They show more angles and drive-by stuff. Several shots have people in thrm. Almost as if it's their perspective. Same when they are drag racing. You can see more background crew too. Where law enforcement had shut the road down for filming. In the regular show, they show clarksons speedo several times during the drag racing scene. In the directors cut its not zoomed in. You can see more of the cluster and see he has warning lights on.
