When I got into e-biking last year, I quickly found myself planning rides from all over — YouTube channels, Strava heatmaps, Komoot suggestions — and making my own GPX routes to explore.

The problem?
Sharing those routes with friends was a pain.
They’d need to sign up for apps, download software, or dig through features they didn’t care about… just to see where we were going.

So I built something small and simple for my own rides: TrailDrop 🚴‍♂️

• Upload a GPX → get an instant link
• Friends can open it on phone or desktop and see map, slope, elevation, distance/gain
• No signups, no installs — just the route

It’s been handy for planning group rides — I’ve used it to send routes to people who don’t even own a GPS device but still want to preview the trail before deciding to join.
