Buying my first used car need advice

As the title says, I 26 am buying a new to me car for the first time from a dealership (previous car I bought from my grandma). I recently looked at a 2021 Chevy Colorado with 40k miles, Is in my price range, I really like it but it has a Salavaged Title. The salesman told me it means they rebuilt the car saying it was in an accident, they had to replace all the air bags, A/C and radiator and radiator supports among other "engine parts". I asked a few people i know about buying it and got 50/50 answers on what do it. Half were saying its a steal the other half saying ill never be able to resell it and repairs could cost more than the savings.
Im dont know my right from my left when it comes to cars.
Any advice/comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Look for an older non-Colorado that is in your price range.

I wouldn't touch any car with a salvage/rebuilt title

A '71 C3?
Citroën is time-traveling. /s

It's a third-generation Corvette, dubbed C3 in the US.

as an owner of a salvaged vehicle do not buy it.

Just get a Toyota Corolla.

I keep driving a Corolla very often......it's the epitome of "an car".
My Astra is wayyy better than the Corolla.

A salvaged title can be risky, repairs might be done well, but future resale and hidden issues are concerns. it might be safer to stick with a clean title.

The only salvage title car I would even consider owning is one I rebuilt myself. You have no idea the extent of the initial damage or the quality of the repairs. Avoid it like the plague. I would think twice before taking a salvage title car for free.

Stay away from a salvage vehicle. Won’t be able to sell it

Hell no. Reasons:
1) Insurance will likely be higher.
2) The rebuilder is doing this to make money. You have no idea what corners were cut, and whether their “Amazon-sourced” airbag (or any other component) has what it takes to be safe.
3) Resale will be brutal for the reasons above.

I'd pass on it. Especially a newer car like that to have been totaled out, it would have sustained a lot of damage, hold out for a clean used car
