I like that in Bosnia and Croatia it is more normalized to see well styled feminine women and that women care more about how they look. When I wear a nice dress and red lipstick in Germany depending on where exactly I am I get weird looks and it's just a rare occurrence to see a well styled/groomed woman. Especially beginning at age 40 there seems to be a dress code for women that is glasses, short hair and outdoor jacket and it really pisses me off how much Germans frown upon femininity.

Interesting pov… I find the women in my family age fantastically and I’ve always attributed it to being Balkan rather than Northern European. In America there’s this stereotype that white women age like milk and I’ve always maintained that I look young because I’m “not that type of white”.

My grandma and mom both have great skin so I’ve never really been worried about aging. I’m surprised by your take really, I’ve always thought all Balkan woman stay pretty for far longer than American/north euro women. Prevalence of smoking here probably doesn’t help us tho

I don't know, when we get old, we look...drained. there are lot of memes on this - 30yrs in west / 30yrs in balkans.

I also have very clean skin, like my mom and granny, but without makeup idk, I look drained, tired and bit older than my age. I feel like western girls are more effortlessly pretty, or maybe they just smile more, have more positive energy

buuut, when I put makeup on... I feel like goddess. lol

I suppose. Im out of the country often and every trip I always find myself thinking the average Balkan girl is far more attractive than the average girl in whatever country I’m in. But maybe I just have a type lol. I’m sure you look great both ways ❤️

Yes this is absolutely true I am also amazed how the women outside of Germany are like ten times more feminine. Not only on the Balkans but also for example Italy or France. Unfortuntely Slovenia is once again closer to Germany in this aspect.
