That would be a hell of a pillbox to attack
RamTank@reddit
I wonder if you can downrate miniguns to have a more reasonable rate of fire. That way you’d basically have a gun that never stops shooting.
TacTurtle@reddit
Yes, you can.
Not_DC1@reddit
Maxim derivatives would like a word
hina_doll39@reddit
Yeah it'd be more simple to pull out the old Maxims from WW1 times. I bet Thailand had some, their military was pretty modernized
kethploy@reddit
M1914 hotchkiss on the way !
SilverwolfBoo@reddit
Notsure about maxim but we do have Ww2 jap HMG
FishUK_Harp@reddit
Didn't the original Maxim have a one-round-a-minute setting? To let you point it at, say, a breach in a wall an make it a bugger for the enemy to repair, for little effort or resource on your end.
Nekommando@reddit
At that point why not jury rig a watercool jacket onto a current gpmg and save a plug for a fridge ( for drinks and meds)
ThetaReactor@reddit
You can, but the "slow" speed is around 2000rpm.
Robertson-@reddit
If that’s considered slow I’m terrified of what the fast setting looks like
ChevTecGroup@reddit
6,000rpm is the max available motor/gearbox speed. Not sure the delinker and strikers could handle much more
Robertson-@reddit
Jesus Christ
GeneralBisV@reddit
The entire gun is powered by an electric motor. So if imagine you could have it shoot as slow as you wanted it to. I don’t know if by default the guns have that functionality though

Still waiting to see a big ass drone with one built in
Lordblackmoore@reddit
this might be something like it:

ValuableUseful7835@reddit
That would have to be a strong ass drone with the sheer recoil from a .308, I could see a .22 variant though, maybe even 9mm

You don't wanna be on the other side of this

When I saw the thumbnail I thought this was inside the box of a truck for a minute. Now THAT would have been a technical.
VermelhoRojo@reddit
Took me a while to find it 🤣
