try using the iron balls at +25 at lvl 1 and see what happens. As long as you can actually equip the weapon, you can still take advantage of the massive power boost that comes with higher weapon lvl

It's not a fear of difficult games. It's just not fun. Have you ever played a difficult Mario romhack? Just throwing yourself at the level fifteen thousand times, playing the same 5 seconds over and over until you randomly hit the buttons exactly right, is not fun. The impression I get is that Elden Ring is exactly like that, except instead of the same 5 seconds it's the same 40 seconds or 5 minutes just to get to take a shot.

The easiest souls game versus a difficult mario romhack is not an equal comparison, especially when you're not claiming to know how difficult Elden Ring truly is. Not saying that the game will hold your hand, but Elden Ring can homd your hand pretty well. You can start the game pretty much with most of your flask and weapon upgrades done with buffs you can stack that gives you like fifty temporary levels on top of a dedicated summon that can tank for you.

I think if you're really interested try it out bearing in mind it's going to take a while for you to get comfortable with how the game plays just like any other game. Also bear in mind it's an open world game and you can always walk away and find something more level appropriate to do if you accidentally wandered into something needlessly difficult you can always tackle when you're better equipped.

But if you really don't want to face a smidge of challenge then I would skip Elden Ring.

Elden ring hold's your hand?? are you high? unless you're watching YT tutorials or reading the Wiki you will not understand the wall of text that is your inventory for a start, let alone the confusing story or how to use the game mechanics to the best of their ability.

I'd say that most of it is fun, but every once in a while you get stonewalled by a too strong boss that they didn't balance properly (for a normal, non-masochistic player) and have to fight it 20 times in a row until you eventually get lucky. Which is not fun, but those cases are much rarer in Elden Ring than in older Souls games. Most bosses are fair and you can beat in a couple tries. Overall I think it was worth slogging through the few bad parts to get to play the rest of the game.

If you're using something like Iron Ball +25 out the gate on a Hero (16 str starting) you should only have 299 AR and you're not going to be able to equip a weapon like the Giant Crusher or have Royal Knights Resolve unless you're cheating already. That first Tree Sentinel has 2889 HP so you're not doing that unless you're using other mods.

In short, worse than a filthy casual, they're a hacker loser who is so bad at the game that they will never learn to git gud. You can tell he leveled dex
