Canada? I wonder what regs these guys are operating under. Running out of fuel under Part 135 (or even Part 91) in the USA is a big no-no...
Serious props for the round-out but "a superior pilot uses his superior judgment to avoid situations which require the use of his superior skill." - Frank Borman
\^\^\^ This, from a guy that actually ran out of fuel once and landed safely, so I totally get it...but still...

They operate under CARs 702. Not sure what their SOPs are but our aircraft dispatch with full fuel every time.

This is in eastern canada. Imagine a very poor state but more socialist. Great people, ain't much money

How do they remove planes that have to land on roads? Take the wings off and trailer them out?
SRT392-Reaper-@reddit
Usually just fly it out if it's airworthy, if not yeah probably pop the wings off and put it on a flatbed.

Wait you use crop dusters to fight fires
bonfuto@reddit
I know someone who flies one of them to fight fires. He travels around a lot
viperlemondemon@reddit
I mean it makes sense to use them for that, hell I would if I was a duster pilot

I thought that looked like an FPL...

Good ol SEAT planes

Maule? I’m pretty sure the pilots who fly them would consider a paved road to be a luxurious, relaxing low-anxiety landing.
(And I say that with the highest respect!)

I read wildlife fighting plane 😅 guess the wildlife fought back this time
Barlispots@reddit
Wild fire. Honest mistake. Still this comment got a good chuckle out of me lol. I’m imagining just being ganged up on by some birds ripping out your panels and whatnot.

You should see what see what they've trained eagles to do to drones...

Those damn birds. I knew they were planning something

At least it wasn’t an electra

If they landed at night this makes it 11/10 skills.
Captaincrackisreal@reddit
Well you can’t park there mate
jk01@reddit
Beat me to it.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good one
dsdvbguutres@reddit
Great landing if you can use the aircraft again
