You're being generous in your judgement.
International_Rip853@reddit
No. Just looking at it I hate it.
klauren731@reddit
i have never had a caesar with tomato on it ????
TheWillyWonkaofWeed@reddit
When I worked in kitchens I got used to red onions, tomatoes and olives on my Caesar salads and now I honestly love them that way. It's just for me though, it wasn't a menu item.
klauren731@reddit
that is a borderline greek salad with caesar dressing at that point.
TheWillyWonkaofWeed@reddit
Combining the Greek dressing we had with the Sysco Caesar dressing was my dressing of choice too. So that border was definitely crossed.
Aggleclack@reddit
They added tomatoes and ditched the croutons
permalink_save@reddit
People consider any salad with Caesar dressing as a Caesar salad. Adding things like corn, onion, shrimp, etc but no croutons in sight. Adding one thing that fits is fine, chicken is fine, tomatoes sure, maybe a Caesar with no croutons if you are celiac, but there's a point it's drastically changed enough to not be a Caesar.
Smooth_Cod4600@reddit
That was my first yikes. Tomato doesn't belong on a Caesar salad. A few years back I got invited out with some friends and they picked a local pizza joint that I'm not fond of. When in doubt, a chicken caesar salad is rarely a miss, but in this case it was covered with diced tomatoes. Didn't fault them as I should have read the menu description, but it's become an inside joke where someone suggests this place and I immediately respond NO!
CATNIP_IS_CRACK@reddit
There’s a super popular fast food chain call Salad&Go in Arizona, and for the longest time they had tomatoes in their Caesar salads and it drove me absolutely bonkers. First thing I would do every time I bought a salad was pick them out. Someone finally wised up because after years of tomatoes they stopped adding them a year so ago.
Abject-Pair-9814@reddit
Me neither
permalink_save@reddit
I'm not even sure what is Caesar about this, other than maybe they drenched it in bottled dressing. And did they really intentionally place the tomatoes between the fingers of chicken?
muzzynat@reddit
Calling this mid is underselling it
wookieetamer@reddit
If it was made at home for you, judging too hard. If you paid for this. Judge harder.
twokietookie@reddit
Its not a Caesar until you get croutons involved. Misrepresented food should be a crime. Dont get me started on vegan food names. Its cauliflower on a stick, there's no world in which that flies.
Stubee1988@reddit
Supermarkets here sell ceasar salad in a bag that looks miles better than this
irishdrunkwanderlust@reddit
Looks like underneath the bowl there is a tray that says cafe, so I guess he can judge the fuck out them.

Impossible_Smoke1783@reddit
This is not mid, it's bottom tier
Que_Raoke@reddit
That salad is so wet I thought it was bland pasta
mcolette76@reddit
I’m personally offended by the tomatoes.
NewWayUa@reddit
Tomatoes is the best part of this salad. Chicken must be cooked right before making salad. This one was cooked ages before. Lettuce is just bad. And where are the fucking croutons? How it's possible Caesar salad without it?
AutopsyDrama@reddit
You dont have tomatoes on a ceasar at all tho. This whole thing is bad lol.
mcolette76@reddit
But a traditional Caesar doesn’t have tomatoes.
NewWayUa@reddit
However, bad Caesar become better with tomatoes. Because at least it has something delicious - tomatoes.
allhailsidneycrosby@reddit
Nah looks pretty bad but honestly I’d rather eat this than an underdressed Caesar. I need my Caesar salads covered in dressing
MooDoodlesRB@reddit
That lettuce is making me feel very, very sad,
defnotablonde27yo@reddit
Mid means like.. not too bad lol, this is too bad
helphelphelpheme@reddit (OP)
I've had worse
defnotablonde27yo@reddit
Lmao
PizzaReheat@reddit
If you’ve had multiple Caesars worse than this I would just move towns or stop ordering them, because I think wherever you live has some sort of vendetta.
LiquidSnape@reddit
did they forget to give you the lettuce?
Whooptidooh@reddit
If that’s home made, then yes. If you ordered a Caesar salad at a restaurant and you got served that, then no.
I wouldn’t even be happy with it if I made that myself.
h0lis@reddit
Who in the fuck cuts chicken like that, atleast do it in an angle
haikusbot@reddit
Who in the fuck cuts

i for real thought the chicken was bread
Bunnys_Toe@reddit
Is that what this is?
NightmareTycoon@reddit
Can we all except that Caesar salads are the quesadilla of salads. Just make it at home and it will be better than a restaurant.
Little_Bit_87@reddit
I'm sorry but the box salad in my backpack I picked up from the grocery store looks better than that 😂😆
this_chi_cooks@reddit
Where the fuck are the croutons?
rowdymowdy@reddit
In cooking school decades ago I made this dish every damn day .that is a fucking F grade lol
Funkeydote@reddit
I don't know, mid is fine, and that looks like it should taste okay imo. My only issue with your salad is that it reminds me of the term, "shrinkflation".
WiseCompote2874@reddit
Below mid
AmerItal@reddit
No. It's looks terrible
Revenga8@reddit
Oh good God. I thought it looked basket because at first glance it looked like a chicken Alfredo pasta.
Jeramy_Jones@reddit
Why is it the chicken doesn’t look like chicken and the tomatoes don’t look like tomatoes?
Buggydriver_@reddit
No that lettuce looks like they got it from a landfill
Separate-Fly5165@reddit
That's lettuce? I that it was pasta. Oof.
CuddleBear167@reddit
I can hear this gif lol
Cpt_Saturn@reddit
Tomato also looks wilted and super sad too
Rosaly8@reddit
Looks fresh, but drowned in sauce and mostly cores for some reason.
Mypopsecrets@reddit
Landfill lettuce with paper shredder chicken
Resident-Witness3456@reddit
Caesar salad toppings on the side
Apokolypse09@reddit
Appropriate response to getting served that in some fancy-ish place is to go cave man on it. Disregard the utensils.
Affectionate_Ad_7039@reddit
How did it taste?
steve_mahanahan@reddit
Why is it wet?
helphelphelpheme@reddit (OP)
That's what he said
ModestMouseTrap@reddit
what is with that lettuce? It looks like it’s nothing but stalks…
jsamuraij@reddit
Oops All Stalks™️
Abject-Pair-9814@reddit
I see nothing but the best little crunchy bits. My favorite pieces. Can’t stand the thin leafy parts they get all wilted
Kind_Advisor_35@reddit
I agree it's the best part, at least for romaine lettuce.
uiouyug@reddit
Chicken Sticks
Illustrious_Sign_872@reddit
As a Chef of many years, I can confirm, that looks like complete sh!t
GardenerSpyTailorAss@reddit
Is this from a restaurant or your child's second attempt at salad? If this is from a restaurant, "mid" is not the word I'd use...
mirfifu@reddit
Yucki
Interesting-Rope-950@reddit
Those chicken cuts piss me off
wise_hampster@reddit
Sad salad, not Caesar salad.
Fit_Carpet_364@reddit
Looks like walmart's cheapest salad blend and a Muppet hand....but made out of chicken.
No, you're not judging harshly enough.
KonoAnonDa@reddit
Why tf does your ceaser have tomatoes?
TechnicalPrize2106@reddit
It’s lame
HunnyBear66@reddit
Did Brutus assemble it, because it's a crime.
twiggy_fingers@reddit
Et fuckin' tu, Brute?
NameUnbroken@reddit
I thought it was a pic of a chicken and pasta dish.
LVuittonColostomyBag@reddit
Zoom in on the tomato on top of the slop lol
SillyLittleAngels@reddit
It appears to be an accurate description
Gumnutbaby@reddit
Don’t do that to vegetables.
LOTRfreak101@reddit
I've had worse caesar salads. Not by a lot, but I feel for you OP.
eazypeazy303@reddit
That is below mid. You can do better at home blindfolded. Don't settle for this!
Onion_Cheese100@reddit
PureYouth@reddit
Thats a fucking disgrace
crknneckscshingcheks@reddit
That looks like it came from a fundraiser dinner at Mar-a-lago
Friendly_Collar6975@reddit

blu3dreams@reddit
Where in California are you
Joecamoe@reddit
That's weird lookin
pwnkage@reddit
Yeah it looks bad
rexcasei@reddit
I shudder to think of the sheer depths of low that you must have experienced so far that would make this qualify as mid
Techanthrope@reddit
That lettuce needs antidepressants
3godeth@reddit
No that is a terrible Caesar
Relative_Yesterday70@reddit
How did it taste??
helphelphelpheme@reddit (OP)
Wet bread
LeatherCategory3860@reddit
Why is the chicken breast so thin. That lettuce looks super soggy too, dressing or not.
gilly_girl@reddit
It's still better than no salad.
LeatherCategory3860@reddit
We don’t actually know this…
Zombieher0@reddit
I commend you for this exceedingly generous take cuz let's be honest, that Caesar sucks ass.
LeatherCategory3860@reddit
😂😂😂
Mother_Bag_3114@reddit
Well its definitely the most mid caesar salad I have ever seen
Own_Refrigerator160@reddit
Too many lettuce stems!
jshifrin@reddit
Doesn’t look even remotely like a Caesar salad.
JackBeefus@reddit
Depends on where it came from, I guess.
