While I have no doubt this occurs, IDF has using Palestinian women and children as human shields as part of the military doctrine.
Mosquito protocol is official protocol of IDF, it calls for soldiers to kidnap Palestinian civilians and send them to do demining, or dress them as IDF soldiers and use them as IED/Sniper bait.
They also did this during 2nd intifada.
If the power balance war reverted 23 years ago, Hamas wouldn't even exist.
It is very important to mention that only reason why Hamas exists, is because PLO didn't manage to attain freedom for Palestinians

Primary reason would be that Israel is the geopolitical and strategic ally of the US and the West in general (e.g German chancellor saying that Israel does their dirty work in the Middle East w/r to Iran) while Russia is their geopolitical adversary, so it's quite easy to be against Russia, because it doesn't bring any negative consequences.
Russia was kicked out of UEFA right after the invasion of Ukraine started, and Russian football teams are still forbidden for participating in UEFA competitions.
Meanwhile, Israel has been commiting a genocide for nearly 2 years now and they're still not banned from UEFA. Also, Israel is not sanctioned by the West like Russia is, and the EU is still the largest trading partner of Israel. Israel needs Western support to exist.

But thanks for bringing up the misconception. Everyone limits their perception of the war/conflict between Russian and Ukraine to the invasion in 2022. But Ukraine was under occupation from 1922 till 1991 and terrible things were done to the people of Ukraine such as Holodomor, which took millions of lives. Did anybody care at that time about it? No. Does anybody except Ukrainians care about it today? Also no. All I’m saying that both wars should be condemned as well as invaders punished. But again I’d depends from which point of view you look at these things. The “west” supports Ukraine and denies wrongdoings of Israel. The “south” supports Palestine and denies wrongdoings of Russia. Same shitty people on both sides of the “fence”.

Russia has obviously waged war against Ukraine before 2022. Some of the most prominent members of the DPR "government", for example, were members of the FSB/GRU (Igor Girkin, who even participated in the Bosnian war, on the side of the Bosnian Serbs). Russia even came to the rescue of DPR and LPR when they were on the brink of defeat during the summer of 2014. Not to even mention the annexation of Crimea that started the whole conflict in the first place.
I'm not pro-Russia, if that's what you assumed, but Western hypocrisy is really jarring in this case, so that's why I pointed it out.

Genocide? I 100% agree with you about the Western hypocrisy but you still use their shitty narrative against us too. PKK is Netanyahu's biggest ally in ME and support IDF which means they are also US assets. They have been armed and supported by the same collective West against us. Also Kurdish party's president literally said "These are the promised lands that Moses was looking for" which is a textbook Zionist doctrine in a speech in Southeastern Turkey. Kurdish militias are very cozy with that collective West since WW1.
Turkey also had a Kurdish PM and president, also let almost half a million Iraqi Kurds in as refugees in early 90's to save them from Saddam who was seeking revenge for allying with US and UK against him and mass murdered them previously with chemical weapon in Halabja. If they wanted to exterminate them which is laughable they would have told Saddam "be my guest." Turkey's fight was with PKK, not all Kurds. And the most hilarious part is Erdogan and his nationalist party ally (which btw was CIA tied) knows that he will lose the next election so he's going to release PKK's imprisoned leader to be able to get Kurdish vote to change the constitution for his final step to literally put Ataturk's anti-imperialist secular republic in a coffin.

Broken logic, muslims in Serbia are still in the same number they were before the war, with population decline due to migrations and lower fertility rates, just like the orthodox population here.
On the other hand, Kurds have higher fertility rates than Turks, WAY higher, so staying in the same percentage rank (instead of increasing) might raise an eyebrow dear 🤭

It is not cynical at all. West has pretty strong opinion on crimes committed by some, and stays quiet on the crimes of others. Knowing many people who lost their loved ones and homes in the previous war, knowing how their losses are irrelevant to the public just because of their nationality, makes my blood boiling as none of this is about justice but about alliences. I'll forever shit on west for their selectiveness. Not just on west, but on pathetic Balkaners as well that try so hard to be on west's "good and loving" side.

We should not group and generalize “the West” as they are separate countries. For example, Ireland, Spain, Slovenia are a part of West, but have been very vocal about their opinions against Israel, and acknowledged Palestine as a state, something a lot of Balkan countries did not do btw.
