Anyone own the Yewpiny 600 W (EM600) power station? USB-C 100 W icon stays lit even with nothing plugged in.

Picked up a Yewpiny 600 W/≈600 Wh LiFePO₄ power station. Works fine so far, but the LCD shows the USB-C PD 100 W icon illuminated even when nothing is connected to that port. Manual doesn’t explain the icon and can't turn the display off. Is your PD icon always on when the unit is not powered? I'm leaving it untouched for 24 hours to assess draw. Thanks in advance—trying to tell if this is “PD ready” behavior or a defect.

here's a solid site to compare portable power stations, for anyone interested: https://wattsreview.com/Products

I had to plug something into the usbc port and then unplug for it to clear

The unfortunate downside of all these "mash keyboard to determine company name" electronics. Poorly written incomplete owner's manuals, and crappy support (on top of subpar components).
Hopefully it turns off before it phantom drains the battery.

Also when it burns your home down who you gonna sue? They went out on business and suddenly asmgssjcs sells that same product.

I prefer the simpler ones without a LCD display.
There are so many reputable companies making these now, and you only save a few dollars buying a generic one.

I always recommend DIY. Much easier to troubleshoot, maintain, and replace parts. Plus, for the money, it's literally a third of the cost (or even less than that!) to build out a power bank of equal capacity & output.
