Will a RTX 5070 ti + Ryzen 7 7800X3D work well together?

I’m planning a new build and wanted to check if this combo makes sense for gaming at 1440p.
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- GPU: RTX 5070 Ti (16 GB GDDR7)
- RAM: 32 GB DDR5-6000 CL30
My main concern is whether the 7800X3D will bottleneck the 5070 Ti and if this is a good long-term pairing for the next 4–5 years. Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated!

You could play at 4K with that system. It will run it no worries at all playing at 1440p

what if you play 1080 line for some fps shooters, is that a concern?

Yes. The moment you play in 1080 it'll explode.

I have this exact set up that I built a few months ago. I feel it's the perfect combo for 1440p but if you're playing in 4K, I would look to spending less on a CPU and more on a better GPU like a 5080/90. Now you will still be fine at 4K but the GPU is working the hardest at 4K. I have my PC hooked up to a 240hz 34 inch Ultrawide Oled (3440x1440) and let me tell you, it's golden for that especially if you still want to crank the graphics all the way and use DLSS4 Balanced along with 3x FG (4x starts to show too many artifacts to ignore with much more added latency), you will use close to or all of the 240hz. If you're aiming for that kind of similar set up, it will be perfect.

It's an extremely balanced combo

Why would the second best gaming CPU on the market bottleneck RTX 5070Ti? :p
No, it is a perfect combo, you could even go down to Ryzen 7600 and it would still be good.

No, it won't bottleneck the 5070 Ti.
