Grocery guys on a 5/2 schedule usually average between 120 and 130 a year depends on the dc you operate out of and how motivated you are I grossed like 128 last year as an overnight meat and produce driver

Are the meat produce drivers back at the DC at the end of the day? How far do they usually drive away from the DC?

It depends on the work at the time sometimes you’ll be on the yard every day and others you won’t m&p drivers run their region ultimately you could be sent as far as 600 miles from the dc pretty much as far as they can send you and get you back for your scheduled home time. It’s a cake job as far as driving goes though

This post making me consider switching to Walmart. I just heard bad things about driver camera’s and micro-managing.

I talk to the people in the office only when I want to, it’s the least micromanaged I’ve ever felt in any job I’ve ever had. We have a camera that faces both inside the cab and outside but the inside camera is not turned on, the paranoid guys put a piece of tape over the inward facing one.

125 last year running reefer, and that was with a month of training and two months not running super hard with a mentor. On track for 140-150 this year on a 5/2 5/3 schedule.

Do you get those full days off ? Or it’s half

Always full days off. They don't do 24 hr resets.

Husband grossed 105k. 5/2, 5/3 schedule. meaning every other week he gets three days off instead of 2.

Is he grocery or General merchandise. I heard the Gm is better due to it being drop and hook

He's Gm.

It’s about 70/30 I don’t think I’ve had a full week of just drop and hooks. Either you get sent to a grocery DC to help out at some point or you get at least one vendor load that’s a live load

It’s honestly a great job no matter what you choose, they generally treat us really well and there are all kinds of different work schedules.
