The Super Bowl halftime show entertainment is done entirely by the players on all the other teams

Since the Super Bowl is the culmination of the NFL season and every player wants to be a part of the last game of the year, anyone who isn't on one of the two finalists should still get a chance to participate. Once the playoffs start, the teams who didn't qualify could start practicing dance routines or musical acts and their draft position would be determined by how well their performance went over with the fans. A team that lost in the conference finals could still come out with the number 1 draft pick if they really nailed their show despite only two weeks of practice.

We had something like this in Australia for Australian Rules Football (AFL). There used to be a weekly football panel show which included comedy skits amongst the serious game analysis. It was simply titled ‘The Footy Show’. At the end of the season is the AFL Grand Final (like the US Super Bowl). In the week before the Grand Final, The Footy Show put on something of an extravaganza which featured a player revue. Players from the non-finalist teams dressed up and lip synched pop songs with over the top production. It was about as cringe as you could imagine. The Footy Show ended in 2019. This is so high school musical. I love it! Too bad Jason Kelce retired, I bet he would have killed it every year.
