I want to know what happens with the space that was normally used for the battery. These cars are tall because they were designed for the battery to be under the floor.
Its inline with a Mustang GT Premium for the RT - but with a much worse power/weight ratio, but you do get AWD out of it. Interestingly the GT has an even higher power to weight ratio as the Scat Pack.
AWD is a big selling point though - these things are gonna launch hard.
> As long as the build quality is good
The Daytona has not been a good indicator of build quality. Ignoring the litany of electrical issues, interior rattles, panel misalignments, and bad paint have plagued most cars.
...so standard Dodge fare at a higher price.
The Hurricane is going to be a tuners dream once they crack the PCM. Combined with AWD it is gonna be a game changer. Then Hemi options to follow in 2027 💪. Thank you Mopar 🤘.
If you're already spending $52k for the base, I see no reason not to upgrade to the HO model for $57. I still think it's too much though. That's probably even higher than used Hellcat prices.
You used to be able to get a scat pack in the 40k range. I understand everything is getting more expensive, but at this price point they are going to lose sales to used car dealers.
The Daytona took all the hate, I'm sure most people see the presence of an ICE powertrain and nominally lower weight as the saving graces this car needed.
