1st photo of the post made me think that I've seen this post before lol. I cannot count how many times I've seen that same photo.
And that's crazy. SCAR with Mosin scope.

The magazine in pictures 1 and 19 got me intrigued.
Picture 1 looks like a QBZ-03-inspired magazine.
Picture 19 looks like an AS Val magazine.

13 is a Pufgun mag
DOOM_INTENSIFIES@reddit
Pretty sure the first one isnt a 74M, looks more like a 105?
somewhatbluemoose@reddit
It’s actually impressive how they keep modifying old rifles instead of just moving to a more modern design
mp8815@reddit
Well they did develop the ak12 and it went super well lol. But yeah we did the same thing for a long time too with ar15 derivatives.
FoeTeen@reddit
Hard to beat the AK platform when it comes to simplicity and reliability. If it were up to me I would’ve just kept manufacturing AK 74M’s & AK 105’s and modernized all existing serviceable AK 74M’s & 105’s instead of pulling the trigger on the AK 12. Not that the AK 12 is a completely horrible rifle, the reports are overblown and there’s even knowledgeable gun guys with hands on experience on the Ukrainian side that think they’re perfectly fine. I just think the AK 12 does nothing better than a well modernized 74M. As a side note, I think modernized AK 103’s and 104’s would still have a good use case to keep manufacturing (which they are still manufacturing and issuing 7.62x39 rifles with the AK 15, 15C, & 15SC).
Turgzie@reddit
"nothing better than a modernized 74m". That's exactly what it is my dude.
An AK12 is essentially a service designation for what the factory calls AK400 which started as a regular 74m.
Turgzie@reddit
Just like the AR-15 which came out in the 60s?
No-Reception8659@reddit (OP)
Modifying those firearms saves money, keeps logistics simple (same ammo, mags, spare parts) and takes advantage of an already battle-proven system. It’s less about chasing a whole new platform and more about squeezing every bit of utility out of something that works. It's a "if it ain’t broke, just modernize it” mindset.
UnacceptableDirtyM@reddit
I like the gp 25 more than the m203 or the m320, I don't know I just like it
BadManzke@reddit
A lot of extended mags. I wonder if they choose extended mags to have more bullets to send at drones in the sky
BadMonkey2468@reddit
What’s with the barrel on the first one? Did they unscrew the suppressor?
Has the face of #13 been modified post picture to censor it?
Is that a fucking mosin scope on the last ak?
Suitable-Carrot3705@reddit
SLR handguard in the first picture?
lettelsnek@reddit

Only_Fudge_1812@reddit

kiddoBatrix@reddit
So many different cans… do they get them individually?
lettelsnek@reddit
yes, there are many companies in russian making them
No-Reception8659@reddit (OP)
Yeah, looks like they’re not standardized.Probably a mix of issued gear, personal purchases and whatever they can scavenge or get from unit stocks.
urugu2003@reddit
Anyone know the name of that vertical grip, which is on that left side rifle on 12th photo?
Redpower5@reddit

No-Reception8659@reddit (OP)
It's a watermark.I think it belongs to the TG channel or Twitter account that originally posted these photos.See, #17,#18,#19 also have that mark.
