Activities for Toddlers Near Rockwall

After spending over a year trying (unsuccessfully) to sell our house, my wife and I are now seriously considering relocating back to Rockwall from the Chicago suburbs. One of our biggest concerns, though, is making sure there’s enough to do—especially for my wife - who stays at home - and our 19-month-old son.
Where we currently live, the local library offers a full slate of toddler programs throughout the week, which has been a great way for my wife to meet other parents and keep our son engaged. From what I can tell online, it looks like Rockwall County Library only offers one toddler event per week.
Does anyone have any suggestions for toddler-friendly activities, playgroups, or ways to connect with other parents during the week? We’d love to hear what’s out there beyond what’s listed online.
Thanks in advance!

Have you heard of Recess? We started using it to find our kids activities and programs and it's amazing! Here’s their website: hello-recess.com.

Also she’s not only limited to Rockwell libraries for story time! We hop around different libraries within Dallas/ Plano/ and Richardson! There’s also churches around that have great indoor playgrounds.

I gave several SAHM friends in Rockwall (used to live there) and to be honest the best way to get plugged in is going to be joining the area mega church. Of course, there’s The Little Gym, swimming lessons/sports at the YMCA, and concerts at The Harbor you could go to and just introduce yourself to other families…
