Bummer that we're still getting RDNA 3.5 in these GPUs. Unless your handheld is falling apart i'd stay away until we RDNA4 makes it to laptop/handheld form factors

We're probably not getting any RDNA 4 SoC/APUs for about a year - and that's optimistic
Realistically we probably won't see any RDNA 4 stuff in handhelds until 2027

You're better off waiting for Panther Lake handhelds than you are RDNA4, at least Panther Lake in Mobile devices will actually be a thing.

I really love, that if you read the article, you have different feeling that the statement in the headline :)

A 10% lead is a stomping though.

Nintendo has DLSS, Lunar lake has XMX XESS, meanwhile z2e handhelds are stuck with RDNA 3.5, upscaling is very important for these low wattage handhelds

I get your point but I think it’s fair to point out that Nintendo is using FSR 1 still in games like DK Bonanza lol

As someone with a Rog ally X optiscaler with DP4A XeSS is a must. FSR is garbage in comparison.
Jedibeeftrix@reddit
agreed, my interest in paying ~£800 for a Go2 is rather dependent on them backporting FSR4 to RDNA3(.5)...

So much emphasis on a game nobody plays
