My old Tee shirt

A few years ago, a friend of mine gave me this shirt. It’s got Archie Bunker on it, you can tell it’s Archie because of the tattoo of his wife Edith on his right shoulder. I love it, it’s one of my favorites, but it occurred to me, not too many folks remember All in the Family, or old Archie. I was quite young, but I recall watching it on the one TV in the house in the late 70’s early 80’s. And watching reruns well into the early 90’s. All in the Family tackled some pretty profound social issues of the era in a comedic way, and Carol O’Conner, probably know best for his role “In the Heat of the Night” was a master of his craft. It’s not a show we hear or see much of anymore, but it’s always going to have a special place for me in my childhood memories.
