Weird I posted a month ago about a volcano erupting and the mods said this ain't that place for that. I'm starting to think they don't like me

Hands up. Who likes the rapist of cats?
impermissibility@reddit
Depends. Analrapist, or just regular?
ltpko@reddit
More likely therapist of cats 😂

What?
ltpko@reddit
Replied to wrong person. My bad. Someone commented on therapistofcats as being a rapist of cats and I meant to reply to that person saying they were probably a therapist of cats.

Great comment in the wrong spot

Any geologists in the room that would know whether this adds pressure to Cascadia or relieves it? Maybe it's a coin toss? Nothing? I know there's been quite a bit of activity in the southern Zone recently. I'll see what I can find if anyone's interested. With all the insanity I can't imagine what it would look like if Cascadia ripped now
Big_Knobber@reddit
A guy I watch (earthmaster) talked about it. He thinks this is following a similar pattern as in 2011 when their big quake probably relieved stress on our west coast so Cascadia and California should quiet down for a little while. That's his take.

Sounds RISKy

I actually really am curious what yall are seeing. Im on my phone and had nothing weird pop up. Is my phone cooked?
y___o___y___o@reddit
Hmm I was actually making a vague reference to the board game called "RISK" (Kamchatka is one of the locations in the game). It was a throwaway joke and I didn't think many would get it.
So I'm not sure if they did actually get the joke or that they are actually afraid of that link for some reason lol

Who cares?
phonethrower85@reddit
Educate yourself on the possible global impact of volcanoes before making statements like this
Upbeat-Stage2107@reddit
The billion people living around the pacific rim likely
Ambitious_Ad_4042@reddit
Probably those who aren’t ignorant
EnHalvSnes@reddit
I’m on Hawaii. I care deeply.

A volcano eruption can have significant global impacts. A lot of people care. This group is preppers who keep an eye on global situations, not just local events.
FullyUndug@reddit
Well maybe it'll relieve a bit of pressure of the plates in that area.
