I'm begging someone, spray paint an iron and some oven gloves onto her hands.

Redditor. Considering how rampant misogyny is, you're not funny. You are the problem. Go back to the 1900s.

That someone should paint an ironing board in the picture and cover her hands with oven gloves. The ironing board makes no sense as where would that go in the pictures to be relevant. As for her hands, perhaps some nun chucks or a giant dildo could be painted in between, however, rather than being demeaning to her those could be used to fuck this fella up one way or another.

I'll go back to the 1900s if you'll go back to the kitchen and get my dinner ready,.

Eh, I don't think you'd want me making your food. I apreciate the offer though.

Mural update was reported on in tonight’s BBC Look East and they even said it was in Newport Pagnell rather than Milton Keynes which made it doubly nice.

Same place 🤷‍♀️

One is less than 60 years old and the other is well over 1000 years old and used to be the main place for everything local so even though they are governed by the same council now I still prefer anyone reporting making the distinction .

Well said. I’m from MK and make this distinction. NP has its own national fame (even if it’s just because of the M1 services) and doesn’t need to be tagged onto MK so people know where it is.

Much more than just the services. Well known for Aston Martin, has the oldest iron bridge still in use, is the only place in the UK that still makes parchment, according to some sources is the most haunted town in the UK (there's even a book), and many many many more entries throughout history of the town and the surrounding area. The main hospital(s), police station, fire station, and law court for the wiser area used to be here until MK grew and services moved there. Once during history class at school we were going on a school outing and we thought we were going somewhere far away, but we just ended up walking around the town. We went right past my house so I just went home and bunked off the rest of the day.

Milton Keynes has taken a lot of it's history with it's township being designed like it is. For example we have the traveling inns in Stoney where (supposedly) we have the phrase "cock and bull story" referenceing the two coach companies we now have as the cock inn and the bull hotel. We have the railway town of wolverton which I don't know so much about but was important for the rail network (and according to wikipedia the war effort where it switched to building parts for the effort) Then we have the market town of Bletchley which also is important due to it being a home to computing and well cryptography. It's nice that we reccognise the smaller towns' history separate from Milton Keynes.
