Possible to wrap without taking much off the car?

So i’m beginning my first ever wrap tommorow. I’ve watched a ton of videos and the one thing that ranges on every video is that some people take off a lot of stuff on the car and some don’t. Ive seen people who take off the number, the handles, parts of the trunk, side mirrors, all of that stuff. My question is, what do i absolutely need to take off to get a clean cut. If i can keep the bumper on or stuff like that and still do it clean I prefer to do that but what parts on the car are absolutely necessary to take off to get a clean wrap? I have a 2018 honda civic hatchback EX if that helps.

funny that the "pros" i've seen break trim pieces and cut paint- i've wrapped without removing anything- clean surface is the most importantly part, door knobs are the hardest part- even at decals you can push under.- like i said- the pros that remove everything don't treat it like you would.

You probably THINK you can do it but ultimately you'll fail to do it right. You've bitten off more than you can chew here dude

You have to take the car apart or it wont last.

This is one of those things that the prep is at least as important as the application. It's going to take a day or two to do it, and you're spending the money on the vinyl, and it's a pain to remove, may as well do the best you can.
If you just rinse your car off and start laying down vinyl, you'll get it to wrap most of the way around the corners and under the edges, and it will be a different color when you're done. On first glance the red car is now blue. On second and third glance, that blue car has some red edges. Oh, I see, it's a cheap rushed wrap.
Up to you how far you go. Once you've watched a few youtubes (and order extra body clips and screws) everything comes apart pretty quick. You could pull a bumper cover one day, wrap it, may be the next day before you get to the fenders, then put the cover back on, then doors, then another 3 days for the rear, etc. Your car will look goofy for a few weeks, and then look great.
