People who live in Dorest, do the council parking fines get stuck on the windscreen or come in the post?

We were late extending the time on the parking app earlier due to low signal. When we returned to the car, luckily there was no ticket, but no we are worrying they send it in the post. It was a Dorset council owned car park. Any help?

It would depend on whether there's a warden or anpr cameras in that car park. The one I use in dorset they put the notice on your windscreen. They were also pretty reasonable and overturned it when I sent a picture of the valid paper ticket that had fallen off the dashboard. So if you do get something through the post, its worth appealing if you did top up your parking online as they do seem to give the benefit of doubt for a first offense.

Depends where you park If its managed by cameras, parking tickets will likely come through the post. If its warden managed, it usually gets a sticker of shame
