Where do you guys get your furniture from?

So me and the family are looking to move out in the next 2 months. We're looking for sofas (ideally chesterfield style for the front room, back room we're more flexible), tables, chairs, tv stands, cupboards, bookshelfs and possibly a wardrobe.

Oh, we buy furniture from Harvey Norman. Some really reasonable recliners and dining tables you can find. :)

Got random cheap and free stuff from charity shops, Facebook and family. Then replace with things I want gradually, still a WIP probably will be forever haha

We’re furnishing our house at the moment and have seen stuff we like at: Next, Barker and Stonehouse, Roseland Furniture, Cotswold Co, Oak Furnitureland, Dunelm, John Lewis, Argos, Dusk

Cupboards, shelving and beds we built ourselves and the sofa came from ebay at £12.65, (1000 rupees) we built a dining table and were given another with some chairs, the other chairs came from a pub, individually.

Buy from a store -sofas, chairs & wardrobe (standalone types). Flat pack - bed, cupboards. Make yourself - tables, tv stand, bookshelf.

Sofas from dfs cause they offer zero % interest finance, other furniture like TV unit, cupboards, dining table and chairs from a wide range of places: ikea, furniture123, furniture village, dunelm and next home. Honestly when we were furnishing our home it was impossible to find everything in one store, so ordered from multiple places

We don't want to spend a crazy amount on it but since we've never had to buy that much furniture, we don't really know market rates. Only started looking now as I've been heavily focused on structural work on the property.

If you’re expecting it for free then check out marketplace and get what you’re given. If you’re paying, then any decent furniture store will have what you need, and there’s loads of different ones that will suit different budgets.
