MLB and NBA will no longer have extra innings or overtime. Ties will be settled with a homerun competition for the MLB and three-point competition for the NBA.

I liked how they did it in the MLB allstar game. Extra innings have been b.s. ever since the whole free baserunner thing started anyways.
