One of my friends had one. The starlet, Sera and Cynos are based on the same platform, as such the manual turbo engine is a drop in swap.

Almost moved up near Mankato, but it didn’t pan out. If it had, this would be sorely tempting. This would not be very comfortable to drive in Nevada where I am now. That thing would feel like a greenhouse and the sunburn would suck…🥵 Sick find though, I envy whomever gets to own this. I want a Kei car so bad!

The Sera is so cool, I have an obsession with them, and hopefully will own one someday! Unfortunately where I live is not the best for bubble cars (the desert) and I worry about not necessarily myself but my passengers if the sun is behind us

you wont fit any passengers in the back unless your passengers lack legs and are very short. im only 175cm and my head hits the rear window when i sit in the back.

Thankfully we’re not a tall people! I’ve heard similar things but I figured my two most regular passengers would be shorter than that and one of them, my brother, likes small spaces. Just not when the sun is beaming in, which is why that was my bigger concern The Sera would be mostly just my personal car, I have one already that’s more comfortable for four people

The general consensus on these is that they look cool, but aren't very much fun to drive. The engine is just ok and the transmission is a 4 speed automatic. In short: it looks like a sports car but drives like a regular commuter. They did have a (rare) manual transmission option which apparently makes them a bit more engaging to drive. But those are even less common.
