Got a job in West Drayton. Don't want to live there, but was wondering if there are some decent commutable locations (1hr or <) to live in?

I'm a 30 year old male. Looking for some nightlife and good amenities to meet new people. I enjoy pretty much all sports and train BJJ and Judo, so anywhere where this is accessible is a bonus. Ideally, I'd like to spend no more than 1400pcm on a 1 bed.
Appreciate any insights!

Ealing or the area around Brunel uni / Uxbridge. Ealing wins though as it's a better base location

You could probably find somewhere in Ealing or Hanwell with that budget. Both on the lizzie line to take you to West Drayton in 25 mins

Commute by car or public transport?

Either :)

You could try around Brunel Uni/Uxbridge. Not too far away, bound to be sporty types/facilities there too.

High Wycombe. You’ll need the BJJ to live there

Isn’t high Wycombe posh?

West Drayton in London? It’s basically a commuter town for central London
