What do you add to your Amazon basket when you’re just shy of free delivery (£35)?

Personally I add a specific face wash I use, and sometimes end up with lots of spare bottles that’ll last me months!

Depends on the amt. A pencil if it's tiny. Or a bag of sweets if it's slightly more.

A second person who goes for sweets, interesting

Prime?
Similar_Act5989@reddit (OP)
I don’t use it often enough to warrant Prime, otherwise I wouldn’t have posted the question 😅
AcceptableCustomer89@reddit
I don't have prime - if I order stuff off amazon, I get it delivered to an amazon locker for free
Princes_Slayer@reddit
My husband has Prime and I can be linked to it and get free delivery. I send stuff to my house, secure boxes, my parents, my mates, my sibling (opposite end of country to me). Totally worth it as we stream the channel as well

I have Prime. I find it saves me buying crap i dont need.
Ive just ordered a £3 item for next day delivery.
AcceptableCustomer89@reddit
I actually found I spend less on crap once I got rid of prime. Gave me that extra layer of decision making of "do I really need this?" as 9 times out of 10 the answer is of course "no". Barely use amazon anymore, and barely have these little purchases that tot up
HonkyBoo@reddit
Sometimes prime still requires a minimum spend of £20 though!

Same

And me.

toiletries as they have a long shelf life and are always going to be needed and used.

Never heard of them I looked it up. They look VERY dry?! Are they similar to shortbread or?
No1rotkopf@reddit
Prime.
QuickTemperature7014@reddit
I have it delivered to a pick-up location as that’s free.

Sweets

What do you recommend personally?
Single-Aardvark9330@reddit
I usually go for ones that will get me the 4 items for 5% off deal
I find the squashies and haribos are usually reasonably priced. Although they are pretty cheap so not always the best option
DullHovercraft3748@reddit
Nothing, I'll buy it elsewhere.
Bitter-Crazy4119@reddit
I like the old fashioned chapsticks which they don’t sell in many places anymore so I add a little pack of them. Or a kids book
Similar_Act5989@reddit (OP)
I’ve done this once before, but I still have them and they last forever so not something I can do again 😂
Bitter-Crazy4119@reddit
Ah mine don’t last long because I always forget to take them out of my pockets and put them through a wash 😂 Shampoo or something would be my next choice, or something boring like a stain remover. How exciting is my life eh?!
Similar_Act5989@reddit (OP)
Boring, yet useful.
MiniRollsYum@reddit
What?!?!
Free delivery has gone up to £35 now?
Insane
Last i ordered it was 20 or 25.
I've been on Amazon for 20 years now, back in the day there was no min basket requirement at all. Literally u could order a pack of pens and pay no delivery.
Antergaton@reddit
Had the exact same reaction to you, last time I purchased from them it was £20.
Anyway, to answer the question, chocolate.
Similar_Act5989@reddit (OP)
It was so pleasant when it was £20 for free delivery :(
Pale_Slide_3463@reddit
Know you can add one person to your Amazon account and you can share the prime with them. I pay £45 and my mum pays £45 a year.
K-Ashby@reddit
I’m in the same boat as you - I tend to add face wash or moisturiser, usually whatever I have the least of at the time.
