In case you are as baffled as I was by the F18 and F16, the parade actually had several planes from allied countries in a sign of integrated power. I'm sure the amall fact was not lost to Russia.

Yes I was surprised seeing them as well but that makes complete sense with the current European alignment on army priorities. Nice display of united force!
