1- F15 Eagle 2- SR71 Blackbird (loved it) 3- Cloth used in (the wing of) wright brothers plane 4- Concorde tail was surprisingly tall and big 5&6- inside concorde 7- A piece from the Berlin wall 8- A piece from 9/11 incident
The travel and time invested was soo worth it.

I've seen and touched the Berlin Wall 3 times.
In two different countries.
Never in Germany.
It's everywhere except where you'd expect

Awesome, thanks for the pictures ! Last time I was there, there was no Concorde !

That's over 45 years ago...

Yup that's correct ! and as Alaea states below, I could have missed it for sure.

20 odd years ago when I went it was in the current hanger, but that was "off to the side" of the museum from perspective when you enterered, and it was in there on its own except for a couple of engines. Very easy to miss when the bulk of the then exhibits were around the other hangers plus the Land Warfare hall further west.

They now funnel you towards that hangar a little more aggressively but not that much. When that hangar was originally built in the 80s, the entrance was there and so it was a natural place to start.
I’ve been going there since I was a kid so most of the signs and prompts have very little effect on me!

Never knew they had a piece of wing cloth from the Wright brothers plane! Looks like its upstairs in the east hanger.
