Any female UK YTers anyone can note?
(Particularly if from a Eurasian or Far Eastern family background or other connexion ) Or something technical
Ok-Shirt8224@reddit
Came here to say Millard. Glad there’s a few more fans. As a fan of nostalgia in general it’s genius. Any more YouTubers like him? They’d have to do a good job to beat him though.
rNycto@reddit
GeoWizard - his trekking content is phenomenal.
Honest-Librarian7647@reddit
Liam Brown does decent, mindful type trekking content too
rNycto@reddit
Thanks - I'll have to check him out!

You also need to check this new guy Stanch out his vids are great he’s an upcoming gem I reckon. https://youtube.com/@st4nchh?si=JicjTqAu3HH9Q2Zz

Very very good channel
Boldboy72@reddit
why are they so inconsistent with posts though??? Might have to wait a year for a new one
thetobesgeorge@reddit
They posted some shorts the other day
Boldboy72@reddit
I don't want shorts, I want 20 minutes minimum that makes me feel stupid at the end of it all because I missed all the visual jokes on the first watch...
thetobesgeorge@reddit
Me too, but in the absence of anything else then those two shorts will have to do (they are both long shorts)

Can't believe no-one's said Atomic Shrimp yet. Nature, scambaiting, slice of life, and cheap food challenges. Not flashy, quite calm and down-to-earth content
Yeahw0t@reddit
Oh he’s the BEST. I LOVE taking little recipes and the money challenges from him too
luujs@reddit
Simon Wilson. Very good travel content and he seems like a genuinely nice guy when he’s talking to meets people in his videos
Ok-Sir8025@reddit
Love Awaydays just for the star of the show, Mr Gibbs 🤣 Seriously though, I wish Ellis would go back to where he started sometimes, random non league games
luujs@reddit
Gotta love Ben Gibbs.
Ellis does still go to random non league matches to be fair, just not as often nowadays. I like that he doesn’t just go to the best Champions League matches like most other big football YouTubers. Even his newer content’s interesting, like heading to random Czech or Danish games.

However, good UK channels:
DaddysFriend@reddit
Hat films. They do not get the recognition they deserve
thetobesgeorge@reddit
I watched them way back, back when it was the three of them sharing a table all facing each other, before the Yogscast days,
I stopped watching the Yogscast as a whole after the Turps and Sjin issues, but I have occasionally gone back and watched the odd Hat Films here and there
On that note, how are the Yogscast doing these days?
DaddysFriend@reddit
Not too sure. I’m mainly there for Hat films more than the Yogscast but they are clearly still doing well or Hat films wouldn’t be around still because there videos do not get the views
thetobesgeorge@reddit
That’s what irritates me, Hat Films should have more views than they do, if other channels that are kinda mediocre in comparison can continue to grow then Hat Films don’t deserve their stagnation
DaddysFriend@reddit
Yeah it’s a shame but because they don’t follow trends and were not big enough when they played Minecraft they have now fallen off with views. Such a shame but they are still very funny and make great content
alexedd@reddit
Can’t believe I’ve been watching those boiks for over a decade

He explores interesting places in the North of England ( mostly Yorkshire ) and explain ls the history behind it. I love his laid back style and it's really informative. Plus as a southener it's fantastic ti see aome of the Amazing places in the North. Since our media ia quite south/London centric it's a nice change. A lot of the north is so beautiful with incredible places. He deserves a lot more subs in my opinion.

Sounds like you'd love Stuart Millard
HibeesBounce@reddit
Stuart Millard is amazing. I came to see if anyone would mention him!
feebthequeen@reddit
Just shows how useless YouTube's recommendation algorithm is. I don't know how a channel with such universal praise who has uploaded long, regular videos for years can have such little reach
OllyDee@reddit
I’m sure I will. Who is he?
feebthequeen@reddit
He does 20-30 minute videos on British TV shows of the 80's and 90's, mostly weird, forgotten or otherwise interesting.
It sounds like there's a million channels that do that but he does it better than anyone else. He's one of the few YouTubers that I find actually really funny in what he says and how he edits. Incredibly silly humour without being childish
Rose Tinted Spectrum is the closest comparison
nogeologyhere@reddit
Millard is incredible. His work on Paul Daniels and Little & Large is exquisite

Spudhead1976@reddit
Rose Tinted Spectrum's Rainbow (the kids TV show from the 70s and 80s) retrospective videos are genuinely brilliant. Hilarious.
wardyms@reddit
Beard Meats Food
Competitive eater mostly now just doing restaurant challenges in Europe and USA but his cinematography and editing are really good. He makes nice videos to look at around the general concept of the challenge.
otherpeoplesthunder@reddit
It's such a bizarre thing to watch but he is actually quite engaging and he seems like a decent bloke. Slso its really interesting to see the small towns in america and around europe. But when he films with a crew there is a big tonal shift and they all seem quite obnoxious. I happened to recommend his channel to a highly skeptical friend and they watched a video with his crew and thought he was a wanker.
Moving4Motion@reddit
He is great and his channel is great. Recently though I can't get past just how fucking gross and unethical the theme is.
wardyms@reddit
I think I understand but what do you mean by unethical about it?
Moving4Motion@reddit
I just meant there are people living in poverty and using food banks etc, competitive eating just started not sitting right with me.
EdwardBigby@reddit
But why? Poverty isn't caused by a lack of food in the world and even if it was, he doesn't est any more food than the average person does in a week. He just eats it at once and then fasts
elom44@reddit
Okay I can see why you might find it gross but why unethical?

All the gear. Ethan and Jack previously of car throttle try to do things like build a tent for a pound, or one of them, Jack was on a public transport vs car race on the AutoAlex channel, so Ethan basically stalked him across Europe without Jack knowing. Very funny.
AutoAlex and Top Dead Center for car content.
Kent Survival for some bushcrafty/camping stuff.

Stuart Millard.
Everything you need to know about British naff culture (I.e. deep dives into Barrymore, Noels House Party, Saturday Morning Telly, general shite TV we grew up with) is covered in his videos.
otherpeoplesthunder@reddit
He's excellent, very funny. Very Charlie brooker-esque
JimmySquarefoot@reddit
I agree!
I always say if anyone ever comes at me with that weird comment that the UK "has no culture" I'll just forward them a Millard video and a couple of tracks from Sans Beanstalk.
It's not much, but it's ours 🤣
parasoralophus@reddit
Does anyone ever say that? Feels like culture (TV, music etc) is pretty much the only good thing we do have.

markabusi reactions for music reactions. Very sweary, Scottish, reacts to a wide range of music, the jokes are well crafted, digressive and sometimes upsetting to the fans of whatever artist is under scrutiny but is also genuinely enthusiastic about musicianship and performance.

XPixel-OtterX@reddit
WillNE is my favourite and has been since I was a kid. I will watch any video he's in on other people's channels as well. He does really good longform videos on his main channel (my favourite being race across Peru). He is unashamed in admitting he clickbaits and that a lot of his 2nd Chanel videos are kinda gimmicky but that's good for me because I don't have to focus I can just put it on and watch food. The general group of the Sidemen and Co. I like a lot too and it is good to see them bringing younger YouTubers (like AB) into the fold and helping them out.
For hours long videos I really like HBomberGuy, his Sherlock video has me chuckling every time and who can forget his expose. Also Caddicarus, especially his Jesus video 😭
