What should I say to my uncle who keeps telling me I’ve gained weight?

Every Christmas, my uncle makes comments about my weight like “you’re eating well, huh?”, “you’ve put on a belly”, or “you’re getting heavy”, which I find totally inappropriate. Each year, I’ve tried a different strategy: * **The comeback**: “I’ve still got a way to go before I catch up to you”, followed by his classic reply: “we’re not the same age” * **The reasoned approach**: “You know, it’s not very kind to say things like that” * **The anger**: “You’re really not funny — keep those remarks to yourself” This year, I want to be prepared in advance. Any clever comebacks or ideas on how to shut him down (especially since… I haven’t even gained any weight!)?
