Since he likes very visually stimulating correspondence, I would share all correspondence, past and future with as many of his friends, family, co-workers, oh yeah, and especially his enemies. Create that family chat for him that will be a witness to the man he is becoming, with photos and possibly discretely so he doesn't get all camera shy. Make sure that you go in strong and let him know that you did receive his messages. Be very delicate for this part though, a man's ego is so very fragile. Ask him if it wouldn't be too much trouble, could he put the magnification on during filming because it really gets you out of the mood when you have to search for the magnifying glass function on your phone. Reassure him that size really does not matter, and you can see from how rapidly his index finger and thumb are moving that he will put forth the effort.
