Built new pc and automatically entering bios
Posted by Top_Cry_2496@reddit | buildapc | View on Reddit | 9 comments
I have just built a pc, but when i turned it on, it said cpu fan was not detected, even though it was on and working. I set the pc in bios to ignore cpu fan, but now whenever i turn it on it just says “reboot and select proper boot device”. I have turned csm on and uefi only for all, and took the cmos battery out and tried two different brand new nvmes. Can anyone help

Don't ignore the CPU fan. Make sure you have connected it to the correct CPU fan header and NOT to a case fan header

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11 You need a usb flash drive of at least 8 gigs. You can watch a tutorial on youtube if you need to.

So have you got an OS installed?

You need to install a OS.

So do i put my ssd into another pc and than install it on that or do i need a usb
failaip13@reddit
You can technically put the windows installation on the SSD and install windows to another one, but that's too much hassle. Just put it on the USB.

Alright thanks for the help

Well if you haven't installed Windows, what do you expect it to do? You need to et the BIOS to UEFI ad only have one Nvme drive connected when you install Windows.
