What GPU will be a match for ryzen 7 5800xt AM4 build seems I can’t go higher that 4090 series

What GPU yall recommend?
HyruleanKnight37@reddit
If playing at 1080p, upto a 4070/7800XT
If playing at 1440p, upto a 9070XT/5070Ti
If playing at 4k, upto the 4090
YetanotherGrimpak@reddit
What resolution? 1080p you will probably struggle a bit vs more recent stuff, with 1440p balancing it out ok-ish and on 4k a 5090 would probably work quite well.
Package_Objective@reddit
Depends on the resolution and game. honestly game run like dogshit now and turning up rsy tracing will even bring a 5090 to it's knees. I wouldn't hesitate pairing a 5800, and a 5090.
ManyPhase1036@reddit
You can still buy a nvidia 5000 series card, and it will work with your PC.

So a rtx 5060 ti Gaming trio would be the best for my build ?
ManyPhase1036@reddit
I’d go with a 9060 xt 16 gb over a 5060 Ti 16 gb. It’s up to you if you prefer Nvidia.
Junior_4_Life@reddit (OP)
The 9060 is AMD ?
ManyPhase1036@reddit
Yes it’s AMD. Here’s a link to the 9060 xt 16 gb.

I’ll look into that one bro since I just build my new pc and grabbed the gpu from an old one and got used to nvidia and its settings

brother youre responding to your post instead of peoples' replies

My bad I’m new to this bro 😂
WiltedFlower8@reddit
all good lol just letting you know

9070XT runs well with my 5700X3D. 240hz 1440P UW, at native the GPU is maxing out, with FSR4 and running balanced and high quality (BO6) they both balance out well as a combo. Native FSR is around 90fps average, balanced FSR is around 140fps average. Throw in frame gen if you are after than and you can be north of 200fps.
QuaintAlex126@reddit
Why can you go higher than the 4000 series? There are some current-gen cards that are pretty good right now.
Additionally, why the 5800XT? Why not a 5600X/5700X or a 5700X3D?
tpablazed@reddit
5800 XT is a really good price on Amazon in my area right now.. usually like $250 and it's on sale around $150.
I upgraded to it the other day from a 2600.

4070 12gb or 4060 ti 16gb. Depends on how much vram you need.
hamburgerc00l@reddit
I realized I accidentally typed the "4060 ti" instead of "4070 ti" The 4060 ti doesn't have 16 gigs of vram. My apologies for the mistake.
Paweron@reddit
You mixes them up again lol
Junior_4_Life@reddit (OP)
Got 64gs of ram
QuaintAlex126@reddit
VRAM, not actually RAM. There’s a difference.
Also, keep in mind the 4070 will perform better but has less VRAM.
hamburgerc00l@reddit
I meant VRAM. VRAM is like ram for the gpu, you just need enough for your needs. What games will you be playing?
Junior_4_Life@reddit (OP)
Just got a new cpu at micro center since I had a ryzen 5 5500 and wanted to upgrade my chip since they had a deal on those cpu
Junior_4_Life@reddit (OP)
Since my gpu is a rtx 3060 12 gb
Junior_4_Life@reddit (OP)
My monitor is 200hz for BO6
Junior_4_Life@reddit (OP)
B06 bro
No-Actuator-6245@reddit
Key things to consider. What resolution and Hz is your monitor? What type of games do you play? What exact psu do you have and how old is it?
You don’t really match a gpu to a cpu, you match to the factors above if no budget.
Junior_4_Life@reddit (OP)
What’s that state your psu?
Sillybrownwolf@reddit
If you can't go higher than 4090 for some reason, then get a 4090. State Your Budget, Your Usage and make sure you also state your PSU🙏
No_Guarantee7841@reddit
9060xt 16gb or 5060 ti 16gb
