Do you think the 265k deal on newegg is worth it trying out for a couple months or should i just get the 7800xd and am5 board? I have both in my cart rn and wanna build something this week but i am broke and confused. Do you think intel will drop the 1841 socket?

Pretty sure the 265 deal sold out…

Truth is you prob can’t go wrong w either. Intel will almost most certainly drop the socket bc that’s what intel does. Still an amazing value at its current bundle price.

its still in my cart and giving me the option the checkout. It could be glitched though.

If you are mainly doing productivity work, get a 265K. Otherwise, just get a 7800X3D.

I will be using it to game, some coding, and maybe getting into artistic stuff. but i would like to game at 1440p 144fps+ or 4k 60fps

Go for 7800X3D

If you are doing any production work go with Intel, casual gaming performance will be practically similar unless you are playing FPS games and AAAs on 1080p.
And I don't think they'll drop the socket after one release

I plan on gaming at 1440p and 14fps or 4k 60fps.

Yes. and its actually depends on what you're going to use the pc for. If gaming, x3D would be better.
