First AMD build - Any changes/recommendations?
Posted by Time_Horizon@reddit | buildapc | View on Reddit | 2 comments
I've been running a slightly customized Dell prebuilt that I scavenged during the dark times (2020) since it was the only way I could track down a reasonable 3060ti. I'm wanting an all around upgrade for 1440p casual gaming. I do some photo editing but outside of that this is a play/daily driver computer. This will be my first AMD build so I'm not as familiar with the AMD specific configuration considerations. Any changes/recommendations? I'm fairly flexible on budget but would like to stay below 2k ideally (and hoping prime day will have some sales going tomorrow).

Looks good. If you have prime, 7800x3d is 341 before taxes right now. I just bought one.

Poor quality motherboard with bad VRMs, expensive SSDs, you don't need 1000W PSU - 850W PSU is fine
