Looking to upgrade parts, Especially my CPU (Also kinda worried about a loose connection I found while cleaning my pc...)

This is currently my list (For gaming, and other generic stuff I like doing while gaming on my second monitor like shows, yt, watching streams etc..), I want to upgrade my CPU but for example I didn't really give myself much room in my PSU for future upgrades when I built this back in Late 2019 so im wondering if there's other things I should be focusing on or you think would do me better before a cpu upgrade would.
Oh and as for the loose connection, not sure if I accidentally damaged it while cleaning or it was like that from some other cleaning or accident but there was a loose connection on my HDD, and on closer look there was clearly a broken part but I couldnt tell if it was a broken part from the cable or the HDD everything works fine so far, how worried should I be?

Biggest upgrade you can get right now is a 5700X3D. If you're on a tighter budget, a 5600/5700 would do.

Photo is gunna have to wait until tomorrow, fk I probably should have taken one when I saw it, dont know why I didn't. as for the CPU recommendation due to sales for certain items on amazon RYZEN 7 5800XT & the 5700X are over a hundred $ cheaper than the 5700X3D. how do they compare to the one you recommended?

Between 5800xt and 5700x get whichever is cheaper. As for 5700x3d it depends on games you play but it is like 25-30% faster.

OH, the cpu I was looking at was the RYZEN 9 5900XT

The 5900XT is not a great gaming CPU. The extra cores are mostly wasted in gaming. Either save some money and go with the 5600X or get the 5700X3D.
