Oh! It was such fun! We’d put like small stuffies and yank on the string to make them fly out the top of the castle and try to hit each other. I had two brothers and a sister, so we did a lot of “attacking” each other or ambush each other. Not trying to hurt, just playing. Like tag.

What’s absolutely wild is now you can buy a video baby monitor for $30. Not the top of the line of course but it works. It’s black and white, and the screen is small, but it works. $30.

I worked at a child care center in 1996 and one of my coworkers had a baby shower. The whole staff pitched in to get her a video monitor. $400. And it was black and white with a really small screen. 😂
