ULPT: How to get evicted?

Recently i found out im pregnant. Hooray! Unfortunately my partner and I don’t live together at the moment. I live in a studio apartment in Detroit, surrounded by people who smoke cigarettes, blunts, and who knows what else in their apartments. The smell is apparent alllll throughout the building.
My partner and I want to live together, but we need to get myself out of the lease. He is planning to buy a house before my pregnancy is over. To break my lease contract, I would end up owing $3,000+.
The building is in such a rundown area, im disappointed i ever signed the lease. Crackheads everywhere, men yelling at me everytime i walk outside, gunshots. It’s honestly not a good situation.
This has led me to try and devise a plan to get out of my lease without paying up. I have a small dog who is a yapper. My neighbors already complained about the dog barking one time when i forgot to pull the curtains down before i left for work.
I’m thinking, maybe if I just let the doggo bark his heart out as he pleases, they will evict me. In the lease there is a clause that mentions if an animal becomes a nuisance, it must be removed from the unit, otherwise the tenant faces eviction. Is this an absolutely crazy route for me to go down? Of course.
But i do not want to pay $3,000 to get out of this apartment which is literally disgusting and filled with smoke. It’s not safe for me or the baby. The landlord/property management just pretends the smoke isn’t there lol. They don’t care or don’t want to deal with the issue. I don’t think an eviction on my record would be a huge cause for concern since my partner is buying a house anyways for us and the baby.
Please don’t be rude in the comments, if it’s a dumb thing to do then I won’t do it. I’ll just fork up the money. But i genuinely don’t think the property management deserves my money.
The smoking has been a constant issue and now that im pregnant i NEED to be OUT of this environment.

This is supposed to be UNETHICAL tips and casting doubt on my relationship is weird! God bless!

Do NOT get evicted. It will follow you for years and destroy your credit. Better to just owe the 3k and pay it off slow

I’m not able to pay it off slow. They require the payment in 24 hours after noticing them of breaking the lease.

What if you can’t?

100% do not break your lease until he buys this promised house.

Yearssss ago, my husband and I were in a similar situation. A neighbor I'd never even met made it her life's mission to harass me and was fairly successful at it. We were going to find someone to take over our lease, but all of the fees they wanted made it more expensive than their "new lease specials," so, of course, nobody wanted to do that. We moved out, cleaned, and dropped our keys with the apartment info into the overnight box. 🤷🏽♀️
They counted it as an eviction and a lot of places wouldn't rent to us while we had an eviction in the last 5 years on our credit reports, but it wasn't impossible. (We're also in Michigan; Flushing/Flint area.).
If you go that route, I would encourage you to have a back up plan in case things so south with the guy you're with. Parents? Sibling? Long time friend? I hope it works out and is all sunshine and roses, but...people suck sometimes.

Don’t get yourself evicted. How long is left on your lease?
You need to either find a subletter/someone to take over the lease or tips to make the place unlivable so you can break your lease without paying anything.

It was a 13 month lease which began May 1st of this year. And i sublease. Can you elaborate on tips to make the place unlivable so i can break the lease without paying?
kerodon@reddit
That doesn't really make sense. Maybe talk to your local tenants rights association and ask for assistance finding a way out of the lease or you could consider subletting if that is allowed.

I’m not allowed to sublease as per the lease. An eviction would save me 3k in fees so that’s why i thought it would benefit me. And i don’t plan on renting again so i didn’t think it would matter
