Phones should have a way to play your own music/podcasts/etc while you're on hold, instead of the shitty waiting music from your doctor's office.

Alternatively, it would be nice if my doctor would just answer the phone.

iOS 26 will allow the phone call to disappear entirely from your phone until the person on the other end takes you off hold.

I tried that once but then it was stressfull to know if you were still on hold or they hung up
