Where do I park at the repair garage?

This is a bit of a stupid question and I'm a massive overthinker but I need to take my car into the garage for the first time tomorrow for a blown exhaust - where do I actually... park the car?
Do I leave it in the small yard infront of the garage, or actually drive it into the workshop?

Sometimes you may need to shove it anywhere. They tend to have some spaces marked for MOT customers, not entirely sure why. But they drive it into the actual workshop for sure.

No, don't drive it into the workshop, that's thier job, just park it in the yard, let them know where abouts it's parked & leave some contact details.
But for the love of jaffa cakes DO NOT park it in front of the workshop doors /entrance. This boils my urine when customers do this, especially when your just about to back a vehicle out.

I usually leave my outside - it's not always the case that your car will go on the ramp first, and they may have other cars to see first, and secondly, it gives the mechanic a chance to drive and hear the problem.

In the yard and give them the keys. The workshop is their domain.

You park it where you can and give them the keys. I've never driven a car into the workshop

In the yard. Hand your key over and they'll move it when they're ready to work on your car
