Got fired, company's now want 1yr to hire

I live south of Indy, I have 15 months experience otr tractor trailer, I got fired in June, I got my first and only 2 violations previously in May. I've applied for many jobs, they all say I need 1 yr of good driving history before they can hire me, just found one US express that will do it with only 6 months, all because the termination is on my record now.
Where can I go besides western express? I'm even considering dropping to class b jobs and drive a dump truck if nothing else is around. I haven't called back Schneider yet but I assume they have the same restriction, I'll find out today either way once I call. I been asking the recruiters I speak to if they know a company that will hire given my situation, and got a few leads there, going to check into it today/tomorrow.
Here's the details because I know it will get asked... Reason for termination, crossed a double line to soon when I passed a vehicle, "company safety policy violation" or in other words murderous psychopathic terrorist. One non moving but still have to list as moving violation called "driver's view obstructed", my small phone mount was suctioned cuped to the windshield, and One "unlawfully parked", I was parked on the shoulder of an exit ramp. Both happened during the same one inspection, cop was power tripping but it is what it is.
Side note for those that can help provide some info, I can do dry or reefer no touch freight. Can't do flat, I got diagnosed with avn in my hips and it's a laborist downward spiral till I'm dead, I had my right hip replaced a year ago and it's doing good but can't push it like I want, and I got to have the other side replaced within a year to 10years, it's a slow bone deterioration that leads to ultimately bone collapse. I'll add a random truck pic just shits and giggles and your viewing pleasure.

The AI camera babysitting has gotten out of control and so has the cops preying on hard working truckers.
daemonescanem@reddit
AI cam is about safety which means its about limiting liability = money.
They aren't going away, so its better to adapt keep moving forward.

And this my friends is why I drive nights 😊

I read this as it really is: "my 2, and only 2 violations..." followed by a list of 3.
All states forbid parking on ramps. Only a few currently enforce it. Do this at your own risk.
Do not place phone mounts high or middle on windshield. Keep it low OR use a "snake" type. It is common sense not to place mounts anywhere within your eye line.
Never cross a DOUBLE line of any kind (no matter the color). It may be company policy, it is also law...in every state. The company caught you rather than a cop.
These are all within your control, and each is very easy to do. The first two above got your company points. YOU got those entered on your PSP Report (which is an official government report used by insurance companies to determine what covering YOU will cost. These entries are for three years, FYI (accidents even more).

Little harsh for some BS violations. The double line? Absolutely agree with. But the other two are pretty small. There wasn’t anything inherently dangerous. Eyesight blocked sure but it likely blocked maybe a percent of his vision and the on ramp parking is just dumb. Don’t want us to park on them and enforce it? Maybe spend some of the billions you dump on lazy ass people and build us some super truck stops so drivers can actually have parking. It’d create jobs, generate revenue and could easily be converted to something else when trucking is AI only in 50 years. I drove from Tampa to Orlando yesterday and had 0 parking options. I checked every single spot. Admittedly it’s a small stretch of road but I had 30 left on my clock. Thank god the warehouse had legal street parking next to it.

I drive Texas mainly now, and holy crap there are never parking spots anywhere it seems. I've parked in some pretty sketchy places. OKC area is even worse, can't even find illegal spots.
Luckily the company I work for does a lot of Home Depot contracts, so if I get low enough on time I dive behind one of those and pretend I'm there for a delivery. I don't know what I'd do otherwise, half the time there's literally nowhere to park - like 10 spots you have to pay out the ass for and they're already full anyway, and then 'no parking' everywhere else you can see.
jmzstl@reddit
How tf are they going to write you up for both your view being obstructed and parking on a ramp?? That would be like giving you those same citations for having curtains closed over your windshield.

I thought the same thing, truck wasnt even turned on.
skeletons_asshole@reddit
Might be worth fighting that one if you're not too late.
Ramp parking ticket is stupid but might stick.
Savagemocha@reddit
He likely admitted to having it there unintentionally while driving.

Just reading the reasons you were fired makes me never want to get back in a truck. This industry is fucked.

Look into LTL linehaul nights and fuel if you can drag a hose around. I call BS that noone will hire you with 15 months of exp.
SuperTruckerTom@reddit
Lots of good LTL companies around Indianapolis. Some close by on the South Side in Greenwood.
SuperTruckerTom@reddit
Exit 103 Greenwood IN. Go talk to Dayton Freight and Estes. Same industrial park next door to each other. N8ce facilities. Good pay. Dayton pays more and no doubles.

It sounds like you're pissed about the whole thing. Reacting like that might be part of the reason you had so much trouble. When we are angry we make rash decisions. The more often we are angry, the more rash decisions we make. Decisions like parking on a ramp, or starting a tiff with a cop. I know the world is an unfair place, but its worse if you can't at least control your reactions. When we go on job interviews (phone, online, in-person) they can be a very emotionally charged situation. Nerves can be wound tight. Do you think that maybe the folks you've been speaking to are picking up on inflections in your tone that indicate anger/nervousness (which is a sign of possible deceit)? You are a better driver when your emotions are under control. We ALL are.

Wish nondeivers would understand this last part
Efficient_Ostrich_54@reddit
Oddly enough I know EXACTLY what that is. I ran with it for a while, then I got smart. Sometimes your body's telling you something. I know the alternative sucks, but I like being able to walk and DO THE DEED. How's the replacement feel? Does it work the same?
Savagemocha@reddit
I think you responded to the wrong message
IcySample6634@reddit
Wait you crossed a double yellow line ??? wtf ? I haul haz mat and a least one a week people pass me when I'm stopped at RR tracks on 2 lane road, and sadly it's just as many trucks as cars saw a couple of near misses with vehicles coming opposite directions, of course I always get the bird like I'm doing something wrong
Treesglow@reddit (OP)
Ya, and I'm one guy always doing the posted speed limit getting passed to, even in the work zones. 😔
Savagemocha@reddit
Not like it’s plastered in your back lmao
fleetingreturns1111@reddit
Same boat as you. I think I'm gonna give up on this at all.
Savagemocha@reddit
Go to Montana. Lotta small companies who don’t give af
astro_skull@reddit
You got all these from cops? Or just what the company said? You'll have to look at your DAC report.

I asked chat gpt, it said to be honest and tell the truth, I guess I'll have to make it form a lie for me too
Ap-Andy95@reddit
I have a termination on my record. And when I got my current job I told them I had just quit it. They hired me with 8 months. I don’t have anything on my record though.
Treesglow@reddit (OP)
Have you looked up your DAC report?

Alot of time we watch divers cliff dive and think id break my neck if I tried that. This is how a majority of safety supervisors view you you're the cliff diver and you wouldn't do a dive if it would break ur neck. I've been lucky on that side of things you haven't unfortunately but you're gonna need a convincing argument going into these interviews could be that the company was overstaffed with drivers or that someone in management had trouble with you (you'll need a reason for that one) truth is you might have to lie that's just the way life goes you have 15 months of experience with zero accidents and fairly minor tickets I'm about to be in the job searching boat with you and in fairly similar circumstances. You can deny them the ability to call your previous employer I believe. Id recommend chat gpt helping you tailor your reasons and form ur argument that way if they have virtual interviews you can feed the interviews questions through chat gpt and just spoof answers on the spot you can do it get creative.
Lonely_Law_6068@reddit
That’ll teach you, you shoulda quit at the first sign of harassment over bullshit. Find a smaller company who won’t be up your ass all the time and be upfront about why you were canned. Unless you got the funds to be your own boss…
SportTouringTrucker@reddit
That passing thing is kinda crazy. NGL. You're brand new and have a bunch of violations. If you get another job I'd be an extra good boy. You Mentioned Usxpress but seems like a typo since you started talking about western express, get it if you can't do flatbed. Have you tried USX? Seems like they're willing to hire some goobers. I would know, I work for them 🤣
