Any experiences with Enigma Square Apartments or Solstice Apartments?

Hi everyone,
My partner and I are moving to Milton Keynes this July, and we've been browsing various rental listings online. We've come across quite a few options in Central MK—like The Hub, Vizion, The Almere, The Arbour, and Park Square—and have found some helpful posts and reviews about those.
However, we’ve also seen listings for Enigma Square Apartments and Solstice Apartments, but there doesn’t seem to be much information or feedback available about them.
Has anyone lived in either of these developments or have any experience with them? We’d really appreciate any insights—positive or negative—on the buildings, management, or the surrounding area.
Thanks so much in advance! 😊

I’m also thinking of moving to Enigma, do the apartments have washing machines or is it shared laundry facilities?

At enigma and noise and smells definitely travel. Think it depends on your flat and who your neighbours both nextdoor and upstairs are

I moved here earlier this year, and it’s been amazing in every way...i genuinely love every part of it. The 24/7 gym, coworking spaces and even the conference room (which doubles as a dining room) are all great perks. Also, Enigma Square is way better than Solstice. Welcome to ES, OP!

I lived in Enigma Square for 1.5 years and overall I had a decent experience. The amenities were also good.

That’s great to hear! Glad you had a decent experience. I’m looking to move to Enigma soon. Were there any cons of living at Enigma square? Also what was the heating and hot water like? General dealing with repairs?

No issues with heating and water except probably there was one day when I remember the hot water stopped but was fixed same afternoon. I did not get any damages as such to warrant repairs but I did not hear any issues from someone else. Probably a cons for me was that environment was too quite let's say compared to apartments around hub (but some prefer this). But recently when I was moving out it was getting more social place. Good luck for your stay.

Thank you for your feedback! Glad to know issues are dealt with fairly quickly. Overall you had a good experience. In terms of it being quiet I like that also! Not a massive deal breaker for me to be honest. How’s the apartments in Winter? Is it very cold/drafty? Some of the insulation in build to rent apartments like Arbour are extremely poor. Practically feels like you’ve opened the door or window in winter. Just wanted to know since you’ve lived there all throughout the year. Thanks again for your helpful input

Anybody know if there are any noise issues? Could you hear your neighbors constantly?

I'm moving into the apartment in 2 weeks, I'll keep you updated if it's not too late. I've been researching and haven't seen people mentioning the noises like the Hub.

You can negotiate the rent price with majority of them

Yup I second this. My husband and I did this last year. You can definitely negotiate price! There’s lots of unoccupied flats at Enigma waiting to be let. So, definitely negotiate price.

I didn't know that. Also, there's a YMCA near to Enigma square. Beware of that

Am in Solstice , Apartments are decent , neat and clean and management team are always on site . Location is good but if you'll be commuting to the station often would recommend the ones closer, thinks it's the almere but those are abit more expensive than Solstice.
A friend of mine lives in the almere and some of the amenities like hiring the lounge for entertaining costs 10 quid whereas in Solstice and enigma these are free.
I don't think almere has a gym, Solstice does but I find it's very small and personally I use a gym of my choice.
Arbour also looks similar, and seems to have newer amenities but price is more than Solstice.
At Solstice management team are there to assist with repairs and stuff , although somethings the sla time is like a week which isn't too bad.

No gym in The Almere.
