Hello I am building a pc actually my first pc and im between the 14600KF and Ryzen 5 7600 i dont want any other than these two so dont give recommandations on other CPU s my GPU will be 9060xt 16gb and i dont want it to have a bottleneck

I have the 7600. Overclocks to 5.3Ghz while undervolted. Hits 160fps in minecraft 4K.
I’d who with this and upgrade in 2027 with last planned gen AM5 supported cpu. But if the rumours of the next AM5 x3d chip materialises I might be twisted to bite the bullet earlier.

does it really give off a performance that good

Just sent you a message. Not an in-depth benchmark but will give you a rough idea.

I was hitting 900fps at 1440p. Let me boot up minecraft and I’ll boat both my Java and bedrock fps

The r5-7600. The platform will allow for a better CPU later. Also don't worry about having a bottleneck with a modern CPU and modern GPU. You'll just drive yourself a bit nuts. Especially since you're looking at a lower tier GPU it's just not something to worry about.

what do you mean by lower tier is 9060xt a low tier GPU?
Naerven@reddit
It's the current starting point for AMD GPUs this generation. It's not a bad GPU, but you literally can't find a slower rx9000 series and Nvidia has only one GPU that's considered slower in the current generation.

7600.
I dont recommend Intels degrading dead end platform.
Many-Resolution-3116@reddit (OP)
how likely is it that i will encounter the degrading
Reggitor360@reddit
Very.
Since the hardware itself has issues.
We are on Intels 9th guaranteed fix by now.
And it still happens.
Just avoid them. Unless you really want Intel, then go for the Core Ultras.

Neither. Get a 9600X because the price difference isn’t too big anyways. Like others have said, going for AM5 will be better for long term upgradability, and you won’t have to deal with a platform that has severe stability issues.
Also, please forget anything and everything you’ve heard about “bottlenecks”. It’s an overused buzzword that has stirred up fear for absolutely no reason. Neither a 14600KF or 7600 will “bottleneck” a 9060 XT.

i wanted to purchase the 9600x but its way over my budget i dont know whats the diffrence on your country but in mine its like a 100 dollars
QuaintAlex126@reddit
In that case, get a 7600X.
The price difference is about 5 USD in the U.S. It’d be a good idea to mention what country and currency you’re using in future posts as PC component prices vary wildly from location to location.

thanks for the advice

7600 for upgradeability. You'll be able to upgrade to next gen AM5 chips whereas you can only upgrade to better 14th gen Intel with the 14600kf

makes sense thanks

i5-14600KF is at least17% faster - if you can get "K".
Many-Resolution-3116@reddit (OP)
i will try to purchase the k one thanks

7600 or 9600x and upgrade to the last am5 x3d chip
