Colour me surprised to see a rental C150 practicing steep turns and figure eights less than 1000' over the rooftops of downtown Vancouver just past 9 pm. I was especially intrigued to watch your bank angle exceed 60 degrees and hear the RPMs climb as your nose dropped into the start of a spiral dive. If only I'd caught your tail ident. Oh how your club chief pilot and I would have shared a delightful chuckle at your intrepid exploits.

Did you look on flightradar24 or similar? Should have been able to see the registration there.

No. I was out walking on the seawall when the shenanigans began overhead. Nowhere near compy.

It works on your phone too. But it's not too late anyway because they have history. I think flightradar24 requires a membership, but go here and you can roll back the calendar and clock to the time you saw the plane in UTC https://globe.adsbexchange.com/. You should be able to confirm the altitude and see the maneuvers you described on the flight path.

Cool tool, but I think I must suck at it. Lots of big boys flying in and out of YVR, but the little guys flying VFR around the city just pop on and off the map pretty suddenly. Can't seem to really track anything.
