I thought that Robin Hood: Men In Tights was the best Robin Hood movie from the 90's. There was the Kevin Costner one where none of the main cast sounded English, except for Morgan Freeman who was playing an African character. There was a made for TV movie that aired around a year earlier.

*Of course* it was the best Robin Hood! Just like “Dead and Loving It” was the best 90s Dracula film.

I haven't seen the Dracula one in a long time other than remembering Leslie Nielsen was in it. I know it was released a few years after the Francis Ford Coppola one.

Truth. Probably why I still think that the 1973 Disney Robin Hood is my favorite Disney film. But we were fortunate to have Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as one of our go-to VHS tapes and that one everyone pretty much agrees on now.

We had all the Disney movies on VHS (including most of the live action), and Robin Hood is still my favorite! Prince John is hilarious.

We had this one, it was... pretty bad. I think it wanted really badly to be a classic coming-of-age movie a la My Girl, but just fell terribly short.

I worked at The Gap throughout college and in the break room they had a small TV/VCR combo for training videos or whatever. They had one tape there "PCU," which was already more than 10 years old at the time. I don't know why it got brought in or why no one (including myself) ever brought in anything else. I must have watched that movie in parts during lunches and breaks like four or five dozen times. I absolutely love it and no one I know gets it. 😂 https://preview.redd.it/cstafuvcncbf1.jpeg?width=571&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=baf9db40a079d7a8f6de15c27f43647611e7112b

My parents had a betamax tape with two things on it they recorded off HBO. It was Bill Cosby as Himself and Vacation. I watched this tape nearly every day from age 4 until like 10. I have no idea why my parents let me watch this tape, they were conservative Catholics and very strict. I learned like every cuss word from Vacation alone

That's how I ended up with Madhouse as one of my favorite movies lol. We were lucky as kids - my mom's friend had a dual deck VCR and recorded copies of, like, *every* Disney movie made up until that point (around '90/'91) so we ate good.
